Dear friends,

Please find attached the MAA Safeguarding Policy that has been vetted by the World Athletics Council and Safeguarding Committee member, Mrs Beatrice AYIkoru and approved by MAA Managing Committee.

We are now in the implementation stage and the MAA Safeguarding Committee and the MAA Safeguarding Officer will be set up/appointed soon. Those interested to contribute at that level can contact the President of the MAA and send in their CV.

Please note that the Codes contained in this document are in force with immediate effect.

MAA will be conducting Safeguarding Workshops on a regular basis both in Mauritius & Rodrigues. MAA Athletics Family is encouraged to follow and complete the Safeguarding Module on the e-learning platform of the World Athletics on https://elearning.worldathletics.org/ – simply register and you will have access to a wide range of information and interesting modules that you can follow.
