The National Relay Championships earmarked to be organised on 17 & 18 December 2022 will now take place on Saturday 26^th November 2022 at Maryse Justin Stadium.

EVENT REGULATIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

The 2022 National Relay Championships will be organised on Saturday 26^th November at Maryse Justin Stadium following the results of the 5 Zonal Inter Clubs Relay Festivals.

• PARTICIPATION

Only our Athletics clubs that were in action in the Zonal Inter Clubs Relay Festivals are invited to participate.

• EVENTS & AGE GROUPS CATEGORIES

The following relays will be on the program involving all age group categories for both gender:

• U10  :        4 X 50M
• U12  :        4 X 50M
• U14  :        4 X 100M
• U16  :        4 X 100M
• U18  :        MEDLEY RELAY
• U20  :        MIXED  4 X 400M
• 20+   :        MIXED  4 X 400M

• ENTRIES

The Organising Committee has the pleasure to confirm the Entries of all clubs that supported the Zonal Inter Clubs Relay Festivals as per attached list of entries

• CONFIRMATION

It is mandatory for each club to submit to the MAA office the composition of its respective teams by 21 November 2022. The confirmation form is attached. 

The composition of each team and the order of running shall be officially declared in the call Room no later than one hour before the start of each relay.

The team shall compete as named and in the declared order.

• WITHDRAWALS

Clubs wishing to withdraw from any event must inform the MAA Organising Committee by 15 November at latest.

• TRANSPORT FACILITIES

For all transport arrangements, kindly contact Mr Claude Duval

• PROGRAM

The scheduled program of the National Relay championships is attached.

• REFRESHMENTS

The Organising Committee shall provide to each participant a stuff bread and 1 lt of Vital water.

1.  AWARDS

The best male teams and the best female teams will each be awarded with:

• AGE GROUP U10 and U12       :        GIFT VOUCHERS
• OTHERS                                :        CASH PRIZE

NOTE:   (1)   Teams which participated in the Zonal Inter Clubs Relay Festivals are

                   allowed to replace any runner for the National Relay Championships

                (2)   All participants must have a valid MAA Athlete Licence
