We have the pleasure to inform you that the 2022 U 20 Pepsi Black National Championships will be organized on 21 and 28 May at Côte d’Or National Sports Complex.

The following events will be on the programme for both Men and Women:

100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1 500m, 3 000m SC, 5 000m, 10 000m, 5000 M/ 10 000 m Walk, 110/100m Hurdles, 400 m Hurdles, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Hammer, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault and 4 X 100 M Relay.

Only participants born in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 will be allowed to participate.

A list of preselected athletes for the 2023 Indian Ocean Islands Games will be set up according to the best performers.

Cash Prizes will be awarded to the best 3 athletes of each family as follows:

• 1^st Rs 6000.00
• 2^nd Rs 4000.00
• 3^rd Rs 2000.00

The Family Events have been constituted as such:

• Sprints               : 100m, 100/110 m Hurdles, 200m, 400m, 400 m Hurdles
• Middle Distance : 800m 1500m, 3000m SC
• Long Distance    : 5000m, 10 000m, 5000 m / 10 000 m Walk
• Throws               : Shot Put, Discus, Hammer, Javelin
• Jumps                 : Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault

To be qualified to compete for a Cash Prize, athletes must achieve the required STANDARD minima list.

The enclosed participation form must reach this office on Friday 13 May 2022 at latest.
